Beauty of everyday life

Today I felt like baking some bread. My day has been quite challenging and I thought there is nothing that helps to this feeling better than baking something so I took my favourite bowl and started mixing  ingredients slowly together. First flour (3,5 dl) then baking powder (2 teaspoons), sugar (1 tablespoons), salt (0,5 teaspoons), water (or milk)(2 dl) and finally melted butter (50 g) - so simple, so relaxing (oven 250 celsius, about 10 minutes).  I had two slices with my cup of tea and felt immediately better - I could see the beauty of those apples again.

  2. Home made bread is the best kind and the process is so satisfying not to mention the fact that one can eat bread when it is still warm and fluffy :) Baking also makes happy. There is something so soothing about using hands and mixing ingredients together.

    1. Hi! I am happy to hear that you liked the soup :) This bread recipe is so important to me. It was given to me by my third grade teacher (I was 10 years old)and ever since I have baked this. He gave this to the whole class. Every time I bake these little breads I feel quite cosy because of this story.
