Later today we had some friends over and I wanted to make our children happy by creating a winter wonderland for dessert since there is no snow here this Christmas. So, a few chocolate almonds, chocolates, sugar, rosemary, and two polar bears was all we needed for this. Oh, how nice it was to see the happiness in those little eyes.

Hi Anu, I love your winter wonderland desert plate. When I was out today, I briefly stopped by a more expensive boutique type store to see if I would like any of the on-sale Christmas decorations and they were all terrible. Some lovely polar bears like you have would have been great! Come to think of it, there were some polar bears, cute stuffed animal types, but they were all piled on a large polar bear who was snoring up such a racket that I wished I could find the plug and socket and trip over it accidentally. Snoring is such an obnoxious noise, isn't it? Lol, no idea why I'm telling you this. :)

ReplyDeleteThank you! It feels so odd to be able to get green bouquets from the garden in the middle of a winter time. Usually these are under snow. Although I miss the snow I enjoy this opportunity.
